SLS Optics is an integrated manufacturer of custom and OEM components for the
ultraviolet, visible, near infrared regions of the spectrum. The company
has also established itself as a leading supplier of high performance deep ultraviolet
Fabry-Perot etalons and High Energy Laser Optics for Nd:glass laser systems.
SLS works closely with customers to develop highly specialised optical
components, which can be supplied in large or small quantities.
We have a continuous policy of investing in new plant and test equipment
to enable our engineers and technicians to produce quality optical products
to the highest specifications.
SLS maintains complete in-house control over critical steps in the manufacturing
processes. Only this way can we be sure that customers' specifications
are achieved.
We have many years experience in the following disciplines:
- optical fabrication - laser finish 10-5 scratch-dig
- thin film coating - low loss 193nm to high LDT 1064nm
- optical contacting and assembly - completely free of adhesive
- interferometric testing - substrate flatness better than λ/150 over
20mm diameter
- spectral testing - 193nm to 3000nm
- mechanical engineering - tolerances <0.05mm
- design - thin film, CAD, custom FP etalon software
